Tropical Flavour
Sandy Tropical Jumpsuit, £69 | Monroe Lace Top, £59 | Eliana Embroidered Shorts, £49 | Eliana Embroidered Jacket, £99
Hibiscus flowers, luscious palms and parrots: tropical prints are one of the most sought-after styles of the new season. When combined with another key trend – in this case, the wide-leg jumpsuit – the result is a simply irresistible, summer favourite.
Alice says: This is one of the most flattering jumpsuits I’ve ever worn! The fit is perfect and really cinches at the waist, plus the wide trouser silhouette is both figure-skimming and leg-lengthening. I think this would be a great option as a wedding guest, especially if you fancy trying something a bit different. Plus you can always wear it on holiday too with flat sandals and beachy waves. The tropical print with cute hidden parrots is also so fun and the black background makes it super-easy to wear.
All About Embroidery
Sandy Tropical Jumpsuit, £69 | Eliana Embroidered Jacket, £99 | Monroe Lace Top, £59 | Eliana Embroidered Shorts, £49
Embroidery has been on the style agenda ever since last season. This summer, the trend has reinvented itself with vibrant colours, mirrored patterns and shimmering embellishments – a transformation that’s perfectly suited to the warmer months.
Hannah says: I’m in love with this embellished suit. The colour combination is gorgeous and makes it a really useful wardrobe addition to match with lots of different tops and accessories, plus you can easily wear the pieces separately! I’ll be styling the shorts with a broderie anglaise blouse and sandals on a sunny day, or together with the jacket when I want a statement outfit for a BBQ!
Pretty in Pink
Lindsay Floral Sun Dress, £59 | Bobbie Schiffli Dress, £59 | Dominique Embroidered Jacket, £99
From punchy fuschias and raspberry shades to toned-down pastel palettes, pink is everywhere for SS17. Bold and unapologetically feminine, the shade is perfect for warmer days – especially when it comes in the form of a sun dress.
Floral Fusion
Lindsay Floral Sun Dress, £59 | Bobbie Schiffli Dress, £59 | Cleo Lace Up Espadrilles, £39
Florals are one of those ever-lasting trends that re-emerge every summer. For this season, this key print takes on a more tropical feel, with watercolour-inspired iterations also coming into full bloom. Whether worn on holiday or on sunny days on home ground, they’re an essential style for any SS17 wardrobe.
